Description

This specialized string, made in Germany, uses a patented process. The co-polyester strands are twisted coaxially and then thermally fixed. This creates a molded surface which creates superior spin and exceptional retention of tension. Compare to Babolat Pro Hurricane Tour, WeissCANNON TurboTwist.

5 of 5 Great string August 3, 2020
Reviewer: Jared from FORT MILL, SC United States
I'm a guy who loves counterpunching and topspin (4.5-5.0 level) and this string delivers. If you love a nice, soft feel and spin, this string is worth a shot! It also came in about 2 business days so that was nice!

2 of 5 Not a good cross string May 28, 2019
Reviewer: Freddie Asis from Stockton, CA United States
I purchased 2 sets of PP Ichiban Spin and installed as cross strings for my Wilson Steam 99 LS with PP Pure Aramid as mains. Given the open string pattern of this racquet i strung it at 59 lbs (mains & crosses). However, the mains are moving uncontrollably so after an hour of hitting i decided to replace the cross string with Golden Set's Powercord string. Prior to cutting the cross string, i put the racquet in my stringing machine and clamped. The Powercord appears to hold the mains way better than the Ichiban spin.

5 of 5 PP Ichiban Spin April 8, 2019

Tested this and "I like it!". I normally hybrid my frames using a multi or gut in my mains with a thin poly to stiffen the string bed.

I am a classic ball striker and in my younger years would string my 85 sq in rackets at 72 lbs for control purposes.

This the first poly I would play with in my mains.

5 of 5 Very Nice String with feel! November 8, 2018
Reviewer: Roger L from San Diego, CA United States
I really liked this string.  I have tried the 1.21 and 1.26 gauge and I prefer the 1.26 gauge now.  The 1.21 has a nice bite for the ball, but the 1.26 has more feel and heft to make my shots go closer to the baseline.  I also think the string is a bit more arm friendly.  Buy a set and try them out!
