Comfortable & playable but very durable April 8, 2020 Reviewer: Rusty Shackleford from Decatur, IL United States   pros: this string had good access to spin even in a dense stringing pattern. it is also comfortable and even in 16 gauge it was effortless to put the ball deep in the court. it has what feels like a waxy coating on it which reminded  me of yonex tour super 850 (one of my favorite strings). cons: i strung 16 ga kingut in the mains @59 lbs. with 17 gauge tnt2 in the crosses @ 57 lbs. after less than 8 hours of play, the crosses had sawed through the mains to the point that the mains snapped as the racquet sat in my bag. i'm not a frequent string breaker or a big hitter so for me to break this string in a 18x19 stringbed is a bit concerning although i probably didn't do it any favors by putting in such a stiff string in the crosses. *****the next time i use this string i'm either putting in a full bed of it or i'm only using it on the crosses.  i bought this for my wife who needs a really soft string.  i think it should do well in that application. Can’t beat the price July 23, 2019 Reviewer: Alex J Markov from BEECH GROVE, IN United States   Usually has the best prices on tennis accessories. Unless you’re an aspiring touring pro or have gobs of money, I just can’t understand paying the big brand name prices on strings. Pro"s Pro Kingut 17g 4Stars July 23, 2018 Reviewer: Bob Kerrigan from Wimberley, TX United States   Am trying the 17g in cross installation with reg 16g syn gut verticals, to see how they wear in a 16x20 pattern After 4 hrs of play, they feel and look great Next will put them in both vertical and cross positions in a different frame with a 16x19 string pattern. Great String for hybrid! June 20, 2018 Reviewer: Roger L. from Chula Vista, CA United States   This is my "go to" string for the crosses on hybrid stringing.  Provides great feel and arm friendly.  Kingut will help soften up the poly mains, but still provide a good pop and spin to the string bed.  I have tried out a few others of the multifilament strings from Big T ( Pro's Pro GUTEX ULTRA & SUPERIOR GUT) and still like the Kingut best.  I string for 8 other tennis players ranging from 3.5 to 4.5 and they all like the Kingut .  If you play 5 - 7 days a week, they will last approx. 2 weeks, if you play 2 - 3 days a week, will last about 1 month.  This string will move when you hit, so if you don't like that, you may want to look else where.  If you are looking for a more durable string with a bit more feel than polys and arm friendly, I would recommend to check out the Pro's Pro DYNA POWER....too bad they don't sell this string by reel.
