The clamp is cheaply made and the hinge isn't lined up straight, meaning the 2 clamp faces have a gap between them and the clamp even hold string in it if you pull it by hand. Don't buy this, as they won't even give a refund for the defective clamp.

Clamp seems to work fine but it seems easier to open than my current clamp so the pressure being applied may be a little less
